When I was a lowly BYU (Brigham Young University) undergrad (late '90's), there was a columnist, Eric D. Snider, who published Snide Remarks in the campus paper, the Daily Universe. His topic? Pure humor and silliness. Reminded me a lot of Dave Barry, a personal object of worship... Anyway, for you other BYU alums, here is the link to his blog/website:
