Scene 1: We go meet our loan officer at the bank, then set up some savings accounts with one of the staff in the front area. As we are trying to control the baby-monster, we note the pink play tea-cup stashed in his cubicle. He says that his daughter left it the last time she was visiting...
Scene 3: We meet with the carpet guy, and note the little electronic four-wheeler toy hidden behind the carpet displays. (The Wudge immediately tries to push the button while standing next to it, thus knocking himself over.)
What do all of these scenes have in common? Indeed yes, they exemplify how family-oriented everyone is here. I'm loving how everyone is excited to learn we have kids, and no one has yet cussed-me out, or claimed I'm a selfish #$ who's overpopulating the earth! It's weird to be so surrounded by all this, but I must admit, it's also enjoyable to be understood. Still missing everyone in Maryland....
