Wudgie has been sleeping in this (Tucker) sling since he graduated to a crib many moons ago. He has moderate reflux & it helped keep him comfy at night. (Note the pad under him that we could easily change since he was such a little puker.)
He like it and was accustomed to sleeping at an angle w/lots of blankets on.
As time went by, he got more and more wiggly in his sleep. This is a tamer pose--a few weeks ago, we would find him virtually upside down on his back w/the sling twisted around him. I gotta hand it to the sling makers--he stayed Velcroed in despite his best attempts. However, we realized his sling days were limited.
Look, ma, no sling!! We removed the sling, put his mattress even, and put up a bumper. He's done well w/just a little more, inconsistent refluxing & spitting-up. The biggest problem has come from getting cold at night (thank you Costco for carrying blanket sleepers even though it's August & 100F outside!) and wedging those fat thighs through the slats.

Didn't you know that apparently August is the new November?! Try looking for shorts now, nope, there gone. But don't worry they have Halloween costumes out. Hello! I need a blasted pair of shorts, mine are falling apart, with holes starting in unmentionable areas!
Way to go WUDGIE for not puking quite as much! Just think of the fat you'll have when you stop!!
That's why I bought that room space heater, saved me from worrying about them getting cold. I love sleeping pictures. Going to have to start calling him flexi-boy.
