The snow may have cancelled the kids' school, but it's also canceled Dh's school, including a night class, a two-day conference in DC, and some other conflicts. Since we still have power, internet, and no trees on the house, I'd say we're doing alright. Of course the silliness factor is through the roof, and unfortunately, the Pudge is bearing the brunt of it.
Somehow, he keeps his happy face on, even when being squozen (it's a real word, I promise) to death.
Yes, Steph, those are the wrist rattles you gave him for Christmas. Sorry, little buddy...
As a reward for his patience, Derek lets him chew on the end of his guitar while serenading him with Beatles songs. It's what keeps him going when he gets tired in the evenings before bath & bed.
And of course, our killer death front yard has made for some more awesome sledding. They named him Frosty. So original. Tomorrow, they start to dig out the 6 foot tall snow mound out back. Jealous, Jeremy?... :)

Yep, looks like you're having a good time. Have you made snow cream yet?
